Rika wakes up in a parallel universe where she is a magical girl named Rika Oyashiro. She teams up with Satoko, who becomes the magical girl Trap Satoko, to fight the four evil generals of the secret magic society Tokyo Magika: Teppei, Takano, Okanogi, and Takagi. Their mission is to save their friends and the residents of Hinamizawa from demonic ritual tools and a strange fog. This fog causes individuals to become hostile toward those who remain unaffected by it. The pair must overcome these threats to protect their community from the dangers posed by the magic society and its cursed artifacts.
