At the Go salon, black stones are unavailable, forcing Hikaru to play One Color Go. Kurata loses count of the moves due to overthinking but makes a correct move by luck, leading Hikaru to resign. Despite the loss, Kurata gives Hikaru half of his autograph as a gift, recognizing Hikaru's strength.
