Hikaru encounters a haughty amateur golfer who asserts he is the top player in Japan. This amateur issues a challenge to Hikaru, fully aware of his professional status, under the mistaken belief that Hikaru is weak due to previous overplays against Toya. Upon learning of another Shusaku memorial in Tokyo, Hikaru gains the motivation to defeat his opponent quickly. Despite his efforts, Hikaru is unable to locate Sai after returning to Tokyo.
