Ep. 14: Duran's Past Threatens Kenshiro in a Volcanic Village Confrontation

Kenshiro and companions arrive at a village hosted by Dr. Duran, who secretly belongs to Shin’s bandit group hunting Ken. Leader Dante blackmails Duran into assassinating Kenshiro by threatening to expose his criminal history to the locals. Duran fails to kill Ken near an active volcano but is subsequently murdered by Dante’s men after he protects a young girl. Enraged by this betrayal and loss, Kenshiro retaliates against the bandits. When Dante attempts to use his Nanto Hyakuzanken style against him, Kenshiro overpowers the villain and forces him to walk directly into the volcanic magma, ending the threat.
