EP 1Duke Regis Camellia’s Rebellion and the Aftermath in the Kingdom of Hortensia
Jan 7, 2021On December 5, 767, of the New Holy Era, Duke Regis Camellia rebels against the Kingdom of Hortensia. Transforming into a werewolf, he kills the King and several Knights Templar while his forces ravage the capital. Maurice Baudelaire escapes after losing an eye, delivering Fernando Albert's sword to his son Alfred and a rescued boy named Marius. With the King dead and Princess Mariel missing, young Charlot becomes the next king. Two weeks later, Alfred and Marius begin training under Maurice for revenge. Four years later, the two join their first real battle with Hortensia soldiers. They are attacked by a skilled Camellia archer unit led by Roy Bachelot. Roy easily defeats Alfred and Marius with his custom bow but retreats when Maurice intervenes.
EP 2The Legend of Magonia and the Rescue in the Labyrinth Caves
Jan 14, 2021Magonia is a floating island rumored to grant wishes and create the monsters plaguing Hortensia. Flashbacks reveal Maurice and Georg Dalmas escaping with Princess Mariel after the Pope Vall d'Hebron orchestrated a coup to install Charlot. Mariel cut her hair to evade pursuers during their flight. In the present, Alfred and Marius investigate rumors of a shapeshifting monster terrorizing a village. When a young boy becomes lost in nearby caves, the pair attempts a rescue but gets trapped in the labyrinth. Nonnoria Folley enters to save him, but both are attacked by monsters. Alfred arrives just in time to rescue them from the creatures.
EP 3Maurice and allies investigate a quarantined village plagued by zombies and a giant monster.
Jan 21, 2021While Charlot rules Hortensia, the Pope acts as his guardian, enabling Orthodox Church control. Georg tasks Maurice with examining a quarantined village inhabited by human-like monsters. Maurice brings Alfred and Marius, where they encounter former bounty hunter Deflotte Danois and zombie villagers. Deflotte initially distrusts the group until Maurice clarifies the corpses are not the original residents. Deflotte explains his father, the head priest, led prayers until becoming the sole survivor after the Pope quarantined the area to contain a plague. Upon discovering the priest’s diary, Ecclesiastical Knights threaten to burn the village. A giant monster attacks and kills the knights. Marius utilizes a flower provided by Deflotte to restrain the creature, allowing the group to defeat it. Deflotte subsequently joins them to investigate whether Georg betrayed them to the Church.
EP 4Dayerehan children summon monsters to attack Hortensia cathedral while a dragon escapes
Jan 28, 2021Following Camellia's alliance break with Hortensia, the Dayerehan Empire tests Hortensia's defenses. Alfred's group discovers a slaughtered merchant caravan, sparing only two Dayerehan children, and transports them to the capital. There, Georg denies involvement with Ecclesiastical Knights targeting Alfred and Maurice. The cathedral is assaulted by monsters summoned by the children, Saria and Elva, who seek a relic for Rugis. Alfred and allies breach the demonic barrier, subduing the twins with the Pope's aid. A giant dragon, the Salamander from Magonian legend, invades but is swiftly slain by black knight Didier Viardot. The Salamander rescues the twins, fleeing to Camellia territory to transform into a woman named Theresia. Georg later reveals to Maurice that the Pope and Didier authorized the village burning without his knowledge.
EP 5Alfred and allies repel Camellia's attack on Olivier while Roy mysteriously retreats
Feb 4, 2021Following Leon Olivier's death, the Church subjugated his daughter Adelheid's domain under King Charlot. Alfred's group attempts to ally with Adelheid against the Church, but Didier arrives to arrest her for treason. As Marius and Deflotte prepare for combat, Camellia launches a surprise assault on Olivier's port. Didier's knights, Alfred's party, and Adelheid's forces unite to defend the territory, aided by the sudden return of Roy. However, Roy abruptly withdraws his troops mid-battle. Afterward, Alfred persuades Didier to postpone Adelheid's arrest. Duke Rugis later claims the invasion was a ruse to strengthen Adelheid and separate her from Hortensia, yet Roy and Theresia suspect hidden motives behind his actions.
EP 6Marius and allies investigate a fake princess on Juin Island while confronting a fabricated giant legend.
Feb 11, 2021Marius learns from Deflotte about a legend involving a princess protected by a giant. Alfred and Maurice arrive to report that a young woman claiming to be Princess Mariel has been seen on Juin Island. Upon arrival, the group observes this woman addressing a volunteer army. They soon discover the Church is also searching for her. Saria and Elva have simultaneously reached the island. The woman, whose true name is Marie, admits with her childhood friend Jim that they fabricated her identity to inspire hope among the islanders. Marius agrees to assist them. Marie shares her reliance on Jim before deciding to confess the truth publicly, with Jim’s consent. During the revelation, Saria and Elva attack them. A fake giant threatening Marius vanishes. The following day, Marie and Jim thank Alfred’s party for their support, and Marie requests that Marius deliver a message to the actual princess.
EP 7Alfred and friends investigate Cocon Village's Church control and Gnoll Hospital plague experiments.
Feb 18, 2021Alfred, Marius, and Deflotte travel to Cocon Village after hearing rumors that it has become a ghost town. Upon arrival, they discover the settlement has been under Church control for nearly two years. A former priest named Adel appears and leads them to Gnoll Hospital, requesting assistance in freeing patients suffering from the petridermic plague. Alfred hesitates due to the Church's significant influence. While underground, the group faces a zombie attack. In the basement, they encounter Doctor Graff and his bodyguard Gaston. Graff confesses to conducting experiments on patients under orders from the Pope. After defeating Gaston, Didier arrives and uncovers Marius' true identity.
EP 8Alfred and Deflotte encounter Lucan at Fairie Tour Prison while Marius faces execution
Feb 25, 2021One month later, Alfred and Deflotte visit Fairie Tour Prison and meet Lucan de Luch, an acquaintance of Alfred. Lucan informs them that Marius is scheduled for execution. Maurice subsequently arrives to assist in their escape. During her interrogation, Didier reveals knowledge of Marius's true identity as Princess Mariel and admits to suppressing some of her childhood memories. Before the execution can proceed, Marius is rescued by her companions. Following the rescue, Marius discloses her royal identity to Alfred, prompting him to pledge his loyalty to her.
EP 9Mariel relives her past with Lacroix and decides to march on the capital.
Mar 4, 2021Rugis announces that a significant historical shift is imminent for Hortensia. Adelheid addresses the anti-Church coalition, urging them to gather in Olivier. Later, she escorts Alfred’s group to meet Lacroix, a witch who identifies herself as a Magonian sentinel. Lacroix employs her abilities to make Mariel experience memories from before the rebellion. Mariel discovers that her father’s effort to resurrect her mother via a relic caused the kingdom’s disaster. Although offered the chance to reverse this tragedy, Mariel declines. Upon waking, Lacroix informs Mariel that the Pope possesses the relic and confirms her success in the trial. Armed with this knowledge, the group plans to travel to the capital. Theresia updates Rugis on these developments. Two weeks later, Mariel organizes the Liberation Army. As they proceed toward the capital, they encounter an ambush by Saria and Elva.
EP 10Liberation Army Advances on Capital Amidst Ecclesiastical Knight Ambush and Duel
Mar 11, 2021Didier informs the Pope that the Liberation Army is advancing on the capital, prompting Flegal Dreadnought to declare his readiness for battle. Roy escorts Saria and Elva away, confirming Camellia will not attack the army. The group is then ambushed by Ecclesiastical Knights wielding unknown weapons, which are revealed to be muskets after the knights are defeated. The following day, the army encounters elite Royal Order squads blocking their path, commanded by Flegal. Camellia forces join the army to overwhelm these squads. Flegal reveals he deposed his grandfather Balthauser, causing his allies to abandon him. He subsequently challenges Alfred to a duel, which Alfred wins. Flegal is then shot and killed.
EP 11Liberation Army reaches capital while Balthauser returns and Alfred defeats Didier
Mar 18, 2021Three days later, the Liberation Army arrives at the capital. During battles with Ecclesiastical Knights, Balthauser appears, having survived. Rugis, Saria, and Elva travel to the capital. Alfred, Deflotte, and Maurice learn Georg opposes them, prompting Maurice to fight him. Didier overwhelms Alfred, Deflotte, Mariel, and Adelheid. Mariel distracts Didier, allowing Alfred to defeat him. The Pope is revealed to be the king's son. Later, Alfred, Mariel, Deflotte, Maurice, and Adelheid confront their deceased loved ones.
EP 12Alfred and Adelheid kill their possessed fathers while Mariel confronts the Pope.
Mar 25, 2021Four years earlier, the king attempted and failed to resurrect his wife. The Pope then manipulated him into making Rugis angry, which ultimately led to the kingdom's tragedy. Back in the present, while Alfred, Maurice, and Adelheid are fighting their loved ones, they learn that the Pope is controlling their bodies. As such, Alfred and Adelheid reluctantly kill their fathers in order to set them free. Afterwards, a wounded Maurice decides to stay behind while Alfred and Mariel go ahead to confront the Pope. Elsewhere, Nonnoria and Kuu find Deflotte once his battle is over with. When Alfred and Mariel arrive at the Pope's location, he reveals to them the motivation for his actions. During the battle, Rugis provides assistance, which allows Alfred and Mariel to defeat the Pope. However, Alfred is mortally wounded when they discover Rugis was the werewolf who slaughtered everyone. Sometime later, as Mariel is giving a speech to the citizens, Lacroix reveals Mariel committed a taboo when she invoked a hidden power to resurrect Alfred.
