Alfred, Marius, and Deflotte travel to Cocon Village after hearing rumors that it has become a ghost town. Upon arrival, they discover the settlement has been under Church control for nearly two years. A former priest named Adel appears and leads them to Gnoll Hospital, requesting assistance in freeing patients suffering from the petridermic plague. Alfred hesitates due to the Church's significant influence. While underground, the group faces a zombie attack. In the basement, they encounter Doctor Graff and his bodyguard Gaston. Graff confesses to conducting experiments on patients under orders from the Pope. After defeating Gaston, Didier arrives and uncovers Marius' true identity.
