With only one PreHeart remaining, Ruru and Emiru struggle with the prospect that only one can become a PreCure. While Hana catches a cold hoping for a miracle, Homare and Saaya share their own miraculous experiences with the conflicted pair. Masato supports Emiru’s musical ambitions by providing concert tickets. During the shared event, Papple attacks with an Oshimaida. However, Emiru and Ruru both receive Mirai Crystals. Their shared desire to transform together causes the single PreHeart to split into two. This allows both girls to transform into Cure Macherie and Cure Amour, enabling them to defeat the Oshimaida and resolve their internal conflict.
