Emiru feels discouraged after a failed patrol attempt, causing her to lash out at Ruru, who becomes concerned. With support from Homare and Harry, Emiru realizes the joy of being a PreCure with Ruru and resolves their conflict. Later, during a fight with an Oshimaida, Emiru’s guitar is destroyed. Hearing her wish for an item like the Melody Sword, Hugtan opens a portal that summons Cure Black and Cure White from another world.
