Hana brings her friends to meet her grandmother Tanpopo, who operates a traditional sweets shop. Tanpopo becomes distressed over complaints regarding the declining quality of her confections and subsequently injures her back. Learning about a specific type of manjuu that Tanpopo prepared before her husband passed away, Hana and the others locate his old recipe book to bake some sweets intended to lift her spirits. During this time, Gelos launches an assault using a Mou-Oshimaida. Witnessing the threat to her shop, Tanpopo regains her physical strength to defend her business. This intervention enables the Cures to successfully defeat the enemy. Following the battle, Tanpopo returns to selling manjuu with assistance from the group.
