The king overcomes Netero's defenses, tearing off his arm and leg. Netero concentrates all his Nen into a final attack that fails to kill the king. After winning the match, the king learns Netero's true name, Meruem. Netero then commits suicide to activate the Miniature Rose, a weapon of mass destruction stored within his body as a dead man's switch. This serves as Netero's final attempt to destroy Meruem. The event occurs during the Chimera Ant arc, specifically episode 51 of 61.
