Meruem advances toward the palace as Pouf's clone locates Komugi under Killua's protection. Unable to catch the swift Killua, the clone attempts to persuade Komugi to resist, creating an opening for assassination. Killua anticipates this strategy and successfully defends her before departing. Pouf subsequently discovers that the Gungi board and pieces remain on the palace grounds.
