Gon and his friends escape a cave trap set by the deceased Bourbon, which was guarded by poisonous snakes. Leorio, who had been bitten, recovers as Gon navigates them to the final phase. With the Fourth Phase complete, nine applicants advance. Chairman Netero conducts individual interviews with each remaining candidate to assess them. Following the interviews, Gon and Kurapika share a moment to thank one another for their cooperation during the exam. This event marks the transition to the Final Phase, concluding the Hunter Exam arc segment.
