Eriko Tamura is the daughter of Kousuke Tamura, chairman of Tamura Productions, and Minako Tamura, a former idol singer. She was born with a natural singing talent and was drawn to her family's entertainment industry. After a car accident kills her father and leaves her mother in a coma, Eriko is placed under the care of Mr. Uchida, her father's close friend. Despite her parents' wishes, she chooses to pursue a singing career. Her uncle actively works against her success, but she perseveres and becomes a popular idol in Japan.
