Endou sees a kappa figure but it vanishes, leading Hiroto to dismiss the claim as impossible. The Inazuma Japan squad trains for their match against Orpheus, where a kappa-like boy admires Hiroto’s Ryuusei Blade. Hiroto runs in the forest to improve his dribbling, while Kogure Yuuya, upset by Someoka Ryuugo, gets chased into the same woods. Hiroto spots the kappa boy again before finding Kogure trapped in vines. The kappa requests an autograph, leaving both stranded overnight. They meet the kappa and his friend the next morning, who lead them to a field for a game. Despite losing points, the match challenges Hiroto to develop the flexibility required for future battles.
