Inazuma Japan players receive correspondence from home, including a lengthy note from Saginuma and an encouraging photo for Tobitaka. Toramaru appears pale after reading his letter and loses focus during practice, storming off after an angry exchange. Although Endou intends to intervene, Tobitaka volunteers to speak with Toramaru instead. Outside, Toramaru reveals that his mother’s illness has worsened, causing him guilt over his distance from her. Tobitaka offers support and advice, helping Toramaru smile and wipe away his tears. The following day, Toramaru masters a new hissatzu technique known as RC Shoot.
