The final Group A match between The Empire and Unicorn concludes with The Empire leading. Orpheus secures first place after a tie against Inazuma Japan, leaving Japan anxious until Unicorn fails to advance, allowing Japan to reach the finals. Daisuke’s final notebook reaches Endou via Fuyuka’s memories and Natsumi’s help. Although it lacks Hissatsu techniques, it contains sayings that empowered Fuyuka’s father. Kidou assures the team that remembering these words will help them understand their meaning. Meanwhile, Touko and Rika plan a surprise visit. Rika buys souvenirs from two old men who provide two free bracelets known as "the keys to the legend." Rika wears one, but it becomes stuck. Otonashi receives the other from Touko and finds it similarly impossible to remove, hinting at a new dramatic development.
