As the Asia finals approach, Inazuma Japan focuses on mastering new techniques. Endou receives a letter resembling Daisuke's handwriting, causing shock among the team. Tensions rise as Tachimukai and Megane engage in a fight. Later, Gouenji informs Endou that he plans to quit soccer after the upcoming match. Endou attempts to persuade Coach Kudou, Gouenji's father, to allow his son to continue playing, but his efforts fail. Consequently, Coach Kudou orders the team to practice on a mud field until their game against Fire Dragon. The players are confused by this unusual training method but comply. On the day of the match, the team is forced to halt their journey to the stadium because a group of people blocks their path.
