Shinsuke and Aoi leave Tenma's house determined to win the Holy Road Tournament. Tenma finds Shinsuke training by the river and offers help after hearing his resolve. They join morning practice late, apologizing to the team. The group is energized by Shinsuke's goal to master a new hissatsu technique, which he names "Buttobi Jump." While Kirino, Shindou, Hayami, and Hamano discuss their tournament prospects, Tenma and Shinsuke practice Sangoku, Amagi, and Kuramada attempts to assist, but all fail. Aki arrives with Aoi to bring food and offers advice to Shinsuke. Eventually, he successfully masters the Buttobi Jump. Regaining his confidence, Shinsuke and his teammates resolve to win the Holy Road Tournament.
