Tenma opposes this style but is repeatedly hit, nearly suffering a foot injury before Tsurugi saves him. Tsurugi warns Mannouzaka captain Isozaki Kenma, who dismisses the risk of permanent damage. Remembering his brother’s injury, Tsurugi uses Death Sword to equalize the score at 1-1. Aoi tends to Tenma’s minor injury, allowing him to continue. Shindou informs Kirino that he, Amagi, Hamano, Hayami, and Kurama will not play in the second half to avoid Fifth Sector retaliation. Mannouzaka starts with only ten players.
