Tenma wakes up excited for the soccer club, where new and existing members introduce themselves. Otonashi distributes first-team uniforms, noting that the second team disbanded due to departures. During practice, Shindou confronts Tsurugi about his behavior. Megane receives a call from Coach Kudou revealing a fixed match against Eito, requiring Raimon to lose 3-0. Shindou is later handed a bribe ticket by a parent. In the game, Eito scores while Raimon members feign weakness, shocking Tenma. A mysterious spectator at the stadium also watches the predetermined outcome in disbelief.
