Jurai purchases a guitar and risks it in a game against Chifuyu. Later, he discovers Tomoyo’s aspiration to become a novelist and offers his support. The following day, Tomoyo is pleased after passing the first round of a light novel award. To celebrate this achievement, Jurai invites her to lunch on the weekend. As they spend time together, an event many might interpret as a date, element manipulator Hatoko Kushikawa is shocked to witness the pair together. This sequence highlights Jurai’s encouragement of Tomoyo’s creative goals and the unexpected reaction of Hatoko to their social interaction.
