Sayumi Takanashi catches a cold after creating a video game for Jurai's birthday. Jurai visits her home and meets her younger sister Maiya. Sayumi's demeanor shifts when Jurai mentions her middle school student council role. Maiya reveals Sayumi originally wanted to join the high school council. Mirei suspects Sayumi declined due to her powers. Jurai recalls a battle ten months ago where Sayumi used her Root of Origin ability to remove everyone's powers. Jurai opposed this, and the fight proved her power could not erase his Dark and Dark. These powers must be accepted as part of oneself. Sayumi later explains her attitude change was due to medication. She states she has no regrets turning down the student council for her club members.
