During the festival, Inukai feels jealous as Pochita receives attention at the dog cafe. To compete with the bunny cafe, he introduces foot-licking, which proves popular with female patrons. Tsukishiro visits and experiences an intense reaction to Pochita’s licking. A woman in a lab coat arrives for coffee and foot-licking, then persistently questions Inukai about his dog being human. Despite his attempts to dismiss the inquiry, her harassment nearly causes him a nervous breakdown. Pochita responds with rough licking, but she remains unfazed. After she departs, he follows her into an abandoned building. She reveals she anticipated his arrival and introduces herself as Inari Sakihira.
