Inukai prepares for school while Pochita attempts to hide in her bag to locate a girl in a lab coat. She catches him, citing the no-dogs policy, but relents after he begs. In class, she ignores everyone to watch him, remaining cold toward the teacher. During P.E., Pochita panics upon seeing girls in the locker room. He later observes her eating lunch alone. When classmates brainstorm festival ideas, Pochita spots the target girl and escapes his bag. Students capture him, admire his cuteness, and choose a dog-themed cafe concept. Inukai becomes extremely jealous as others give him belly rubs.
