Kuroda executes a coup d'etat, imposing martial law across Japan. Dr. Tanaka admits to accidentally overloading the Arc Reactor, prompting Kuroda to eliminate the US military presence. He exposes Tanaka as a Zodiac robot Tony previously encountered before Sakarai's death. Iron Man successfully calms Tanaka's frenzy. During the ensuing battle with the heavily armored Kuroda, Tanaka supplies the necessary power for Iron Man to defeat him. Months later, Tony finishes the Arc Station project, aiming to deliver renewable energy to the global population.
