Kuroda enacts a coup d'etat and declares martial law over Japan. As Dr. Tanaka confesses to unwittingly overloading the Arc Reactor, Kuroda destroys the US military presence and reveals that Tanaka is really a Zodiac robot, Tony fought before Sakarai was killed. Iron Man is able to snap Tanaka out of her frenzy. Iron Man fights a heavily armored Kuroda, but Tanaka manages to provide the power Iron needs to vanquish Kuroda.
