Yuuya accepts an invitation to Ousei Academy from Kaori’s father, the school chairman, after saving her life. Despite his siblings’ attempts to claim the spot, Kaori exposes their bullying nature, prompting Yuuya to leave with her. The chairman reassures Yuuya that the institution prioritizes character over grades, allowing students to develop skills while enjoying themselves. During a science lesson taught by Ms. Sawada, Yuuya attracts the attention of many female classmates. He gradually forms tentative friendships with Ryō and Shingo, appreciating the genuine kindness he receives, and agrees to transfer. Kaori shows him a nearby shopping center, where she insists they use first names, leading to rumors of a date that embarrass him. Later, Yuuya returns to another world for leisure but rescues a girl named Lexia from a monster before slipping away when her guards arrive.
