Ep. 5: Yūya adopts a Black Fenrir named Night and faces the Headhunter assassin.

During a monster forest expedition, Yūya rescues and adopts a Black Fenrir puppy he names Night. While walking Night in his Earth neighborhood, he gains attention and meets Kaori and Miu. Night proves capable and joins Yūya in combat, where they defeat a Crystal Deer using fire and water magic. The defeated monster drops an item that grants Yūya instant hot baths. Later, the pair discovers a cave containing skeletal remains and a tome titled The Book of the Sage. Concurrently, Reigar's agents hire the notorious assassin Headhunter to eliminate Princess Lexia.
