Edelgard instructs Diablo to transfer magical energy into Rem to release Krebskulm. He complies, resulting in a towering demon that transforms into a cute girl. The entity, now named Klem, has amnesia and refuses to destroy humanity after enjoying biscuits. Alicia opposes this decision, but Edelgard supports Klem. Fallen Eulerex attacks them, yet Edelgard and Diablo repel him. Approaching Faltra City, Edelgard departs because Fallen are unwelcome. Diablo becomes embarrassed when Shera and Klem rub against him to restore his energy. Alicia privately recalls her abusive past and desires the extinction of mortals. Meanwhile, Sadler regains his flesh and vows revenge.
