Separated from the group, Lumachina faces execution while Diablo refuses to escape due to her request. Horn accidentally activates a Holy Grail, summoning a fairy named Babylon who grants her mind-control abilities. Horn infiltrates the floating church to rescue her friends but is injured by a Paladin. Diablo breaks free, defeats the attacker, and bombards the church with lightning to demand Lumachina. He plans to force her to save the worshipers by feigning defeat, but Lumachina instead agrees to let "God" smite everyone, believing only the worthy will reach Heaven. The situation escalates when Vishos unleashes a giant monster named Europa, complicating the rescue attempt and leaving the group in immediate danger.
