Naofumi Iwatani briefly appears before Class 1, prompting Roswaal to announce his transfer and Chomusuke’s arrival in Class 2. After rearranging seats via lottery, Naofumi wanders the campus and informs Wilhelm that he was transported while fighting alongside Raphtalia and Filo. Meanwhile, Kazuma and Ainz encounter Raphtalia, who seeks Naofumi, while Subaru and Aura locate Filo and ride her. During a baseball game, Raphtalia reunites with Filo just before a stray ball from Mare strikes. Naofumi intervenes using his shield to protect them. The trio decides to remain at the school with their new acquaintances until they discover a method to return to their original world.
