Mare and Beatrice provide Filo with a fairy tale book, but since she cannot read, she asks Naofumi to read it aloud. Lupusregina offers inappropriate ideas, earning reprimands from Yuri and Narberal. After Narberal insults Tanya's subordinates, Lupusregina proposes The Ugly Duckling. Following the reading by Naofumi, Filo selects this story for the play. Naofumi's praise for Filo subsequently causes Raphtalia to feel jealous.
