During physical education, Maiko and Ai observe Kaori and Yuki as a cute couple. Yuki requests private math tutoring for his final exam, where he compliments Kaori. Saki interrupts with an announcement from Mr. Inoue, causing Kaori to say "Ah" upon their departure. As summer approaches, Yuki worries about seeing Kaori less. Shogo encourages him to propose meeting during the break. Yuki asks, learning Kaori assumed they would naturally continue seeing each other. On the first Monday of summer break, they fail to arrange a specific location and meet on the school roof. Surprisingly, Kaori begins to remember exactly who Yuki is.
