As summer advances, Kaori invites Yuki, Saki, and Shogo to the beach. Upon arrival, deteriorating weather forces the group into an arcade for shelter. Yuki fails at a crane game, and they take photos in a booth. Around noon, Shogo and Kaori are sent for lunch, disappointing Yuki. Shogo questions Kaori about her feelings for Yuki, while Saki teases Yuki. Kaori admits to Shogo that seeing Yuki with other girls caused unfamiliar emotions. Later, Shogo encourages Yuki to express his feelings. Yuki and Kaori share a tender walk on the beach. The day ends with fireworks, during which Kaori struggles to articulate her new emotions. Meanwhile, a teenager and his family relocate back to the city.
