During the second day, participants are scattered without maps or communication tools. Sally teams with Frederica, while Maple encounters Mii, who warns that the safe zone is shrinking and will eliminate those outside it. Subsequent meetings bring Maple Tree, Order of the Holy Sword, and Flame Emperor together. They establish an alliance, permitting other guilds to utilize their base. Following Mii and Payne's defense against a night wave of stronger monsters, the group divides into smaller units to collect additional medals.
