After clearing a haunted mansion to retrieve Sally’s requested items and telekinetic clothing, Maple answers Mii’s call to assist in fighting monsters on Level 6. The group then meets Kasumi and Frederica at a café before Maple and Sally participate in the seventh event. This challenge requires each party to climb distinct battle towers over five days. Unbeknownst to them, administrators selected the monsters in Maple’s towers specifically to defeat her. Nevertheless, Maple and Sally successfully overcome the enemies on the first three floors, which include a dragon, a book that steals skills, and a golem capable of changing elements.

On the second day of the event, Maple and Sally proceed through their tower alongside other teams. Upon reaching the tenth floor, they encounter the final boss, a formidable opponent characterized by high attack power and speed. As a reward for their victory, Maple and Sally acquire new skills. Meanwhile, Maple searches for potion ingredients and is captured by a tentacled monster. She devours the creature, gaining a skill to produce tentacles. This leads the pair to the bosses guarding the remaining crystal keys. After collecting all three keys, they enter ruins and are transported to a serene location featuring a magical spring. This spring triggers the evolution of Syrup and Oboro into new forms.

The preliminary phase of the eighth event commences, challenging players to defeat numerous monsters while simultaneously defending against attacks from other participants. Maple employs a trap to draw monsters toward her position. Meanwhile, other members of Maple Tree utilize their new companions to improve their rankings. Sally observes a confrontation between Mii and Payne. This clash is abruptly interrupted when Maple emerges from the mouth of a giant alligator, joining the fray unexpectedly.

The eighth event starts with Maple Tree on the highest difficulty. To earn ten tradeable medals, the group splits. Sally, Yui, and Mai join Maple. Using a map, they find a hidden area and defeat mud monsters with new projectile skills, securing their first medal. Kasumi’s group fights an invisible ninja monster, winning thanks to Iz’s traps for another medal. The groups reunite and build a base in an underground dummy dungeon. They set up traps that successfully stop a wave of stronger monsters, completing their defensive setup.

During the second day, participants are scattered without maps or communication tools. Sally teams with Frederica, while Maple encounters Mii, who warns that the safe zone is shrinking and will eliminate those outside it.
