Ep. 48: Ruby and Akira disrupt Dian and Rinko's wedding ceremony at the lair.

Preparations for Dian and Rinko's wedding are complete, but Ruby and Akira intervene to stop the event. They discover the entrance to Dian's lair, where they face angry snowmen and magical illusions designed by Dian to hinder their progress. Upon reaching the altar, Dian has already claimed the Jewel Stick as its new master. When Dian asks Rinko to join him, she instead offers her hand to Akira. A rift opens beneath them, causing both to fall. Akira attempts to rouse the unconscious Rinko, recalling Garnet's advice that a prince's kiss can awaken a princess. He kisses her, waking her mid-fall, and they are subsequently rescued by Ruby and Nephrite.
