Chiari travels to the Red Moon to rescue Ruby and confront Kosuke, joined by Megimina and Jewelina. Upon arrival, she finds Ruby corrupted and Kosuke fused with the Red Moon, which destroys the temple. Chiari survives the collapse and battles the entity, but her happiness only temporarily weakens it. The sisters intervene, allowing Chiari to communicate with the Red Moon. It reveals that a face on its surface caused it to be locked away as an omen, leading it to absorb human unhappiness. Chiari argues that happiness multiplies, but the Red Moon rejects this, intensifying its aura. The Jewelpets and girls arrive to purify Ruby. The sisters fuse into S-Jewelina to destroy the pedestal, freeing Kosuke. The group then discovers a mirror with graffiti resembling the Red Moon, prompting Ruby to confess her role in the events.
