The Jewelpets gather for a sports festival where the victor earns a Jewelstone for their human partner. Ruby initially trails behind Dian but closes the gap during team battles. A fortune-telling Jewelpet discovers Ruby possesses exceptional luck, boosting her energy significantly. The competitors learn that the final race determines the overall winner, regardless of previous results. Labra, having overslept after overeating, wakes up late and screams loudly. This shout causes the bell, which serves as the finish line, to fall onto Ruby. She crosses the line first, securing the victory and her ninth Jewelstone for Akari.
