Ep. 3: Jotaro Extracts Kakyoin's Flesh Bud and the Group Heads to Egypt to Find Dio

Joseph explains that Kakyoin is controlled by a flesh bud in his brain. Avdol reveals he once escaped a similar curse. Jotaro uses his Stand to carefully remove the bud while it defends itself. Joseph destroys the extracted bud with Hamon. The next day, Avdol finds Holly collapsed with a rose vine Stand that is killing her due to her lack of willpower. Jotaro and Joseph fear this is her fate. Joseph states that killing Dio is the only way to save Holly. Jotaro analyzes photos of Dio to identify a fly. Avdol determines the fly is from Aswan, Egypt, where Dio is hiding. Kakyoin joins the search, having learned Holly has fifty days to live. Joseph contacts the Speedwagon Foundation for Holly's care. Avdol names Jotaro's Stand Star Platinum using Tarot cards. The group flies to Egypt. Dio, using a Stand similar to Hermit Purple, photographs their location. Joseph senses Dio's presence on the plane and becomes cautious.
