Ep. 9: Jotaro confronts an impostor using Yellow Temperance to mimic Kakyoin during a cable car battle.

Jotaro and Anne suspect Kakyoin is compromised after witnessing bizarre behavior like eating beetles and licking a cherry. When Jotaro punches the suspect on a balcony, he reveals Rubber Soul, a Dio assassin disguised via his Stand Yellow Temperance. The Stand consumes flesh and can mimic any form. During their fight on cable cars, Anne alerts Joseph and Avdol, and the real Kakyoin arrives. Rubber Soul notes slime transferred to Jotaro’s hand will eat his flesh. After fire and ice fail, Jotaro drags Rubber Soul into the sea to force him to lower his guard. Interrogated, Rubber Soul names the next Stands: Death, the Empress, the Emperor, and the Hanged Man, the latter belonging to J. Geil. Jotaro defeats Rubber Soul using a water blast through a pipe. The group continues to India, where Jotaro is surprised by Kakyoin’s identical cherry-licking habit, while Anne secretly follows in the next train car.
