Baka narrates that a convenience store cashier resembled Buddha. Kanade Ninomae, known as Majime, attempts to get close to Robo by studying Baka’s behavior. Loli offers candy sticks to Baka’s group, while Sensei lectures Baka on sushi and threatens her with a crew-cut if her grades do not improve. Ota questions her friendship with Baka, faints, and recalls a middle school incident where Baka added Tabasco to her drink. Baka borrows Majime’s notes and argues that fried chicken should serve as currency. After sharing this with Robo, Majime realizes Baka also stole her observation notes. Majime lends her umbrella to Robo and acts strangely. Meanwhile, Minami Yamamoto climbs a tree, allowing a bird to build a nest in her hood, until Majime rescues her. Baka imitates fried chicken for Majime, and Sensei confiscates Robo’s bacterial cultures.
