Nanami intervenes at the last moment to protect Itadori from Mahito’s strike. The two then synchronize their assaults to guarantee Mahito’s exorcism. In response, Mahito deploys transfigured humans to psychologically corner Itadori, but the young sorcerer successfully overcomes this mental assault. Cornered and sensing his impending demise, Mahito is trapped beneath a relentless barrage of attacks. Desperate to survive, he activates his Domain Expansion as the battle reaches its critical climax.
