Kasumi loses to Maki after underestimating her lack of Cursed Energy. Nobara awakens to fight Momo, disabling her broom with the Straw Doll Technique and nearly defeating her with a toy hammer before Mai knocks Nobara out with a non-lethal revolver shot. Maki pursues Mai using Kasumi's sword, while flashbacks detail the twins' past in the Zenin clan: Maki left but sought control, whereas Mai stayed and was forced into sorcery in Maki's stead. Mai attempts to create an extra bullet from Cursed Energy, but Maki catches it bare-handed, demonstrating her immense physical strength despite low curse energy. Both Mai and Nobara are retired from the event due to exhaustion.
