Ep. 5: Megumi reflects on his motives while Yuji dies and later wakes in Sukuna's domain.

Fushiguro witnesses the death of a special grade cursed spirit outside the juvenile detention center. Sukuna takes Yuji hostage by removing his heart, assuming Yuji would not attempt to seize control. Despite using his shikigami, Megumi is overpowered and admits his selfish desire to help people unequally stems from his sister's coma. Yuji dies from blood loss, but later awakens inside Sukuna's domain while his body is examined by doctor Shoko Ieiri. During this time, Yuji and Nobara meet second-years Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, who announce their participation in the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event. Concurrently, cursed spirits Dagon, Jogo, and Hanami meet with Geto to plot recruiting Yuji and Satoru.
