Usagi attempts to avoid an awards party for the Kikukawa Prize, but Isaka deceives him by claiming Misaki wishes to attend. During the journey to the hotel venue, Misaki encounters Usagi’s older brother, Haruhiko. The familial connection remains unknown until the group arrives at the hotel, prompting a confrontation between Usagi and Haruhiko. Misaki unexpectedly loses his temper to defend Usagi, leading Isaka to clarify that Misaki is Usagi’s special someone. Usagi feels joy over Misaki’s protective anger. The following day, Haruhiko sends flowers to Misaki, a gesture that surprises and disturbs both Misaki and Usagi.
