Three hundred years ago, Yagyuu Juubei fought Kita Retsusai, leader of the Northern Yagyu, during a battle that resulted in both leaders and Jubei’s wife and daughter drowning in ice. In the present, Jiyuu Nanohana meets a strange child offering the Lovely Eyepatch. After fleeing, she assists transfer student Freesia at her home, where they are attacked by Kita Furo and the Siberian Yagyu. The child reappears, attaching the Eyepatch to Jiyu and transforming her into Jubei II. She wins the fight, but a mysterious swordswoman immediately attacks her.
