Ai suffers a panic attack and runs, leaving Sarasa with Mikiya Kitaouji, who collapses in tears to apologize for Ai's JPX expulsion. Taichi-sensei reveals Ai ended his NEET lifestyle, but a hand-holding incident caused her to label him a creep. He clarifies Ai does not hate Mikiya and was never attached to JPX. Guilt-ridden, Ai returns to find them dancing, sparking hatred. She argues with Sarasa and skips class. Sarasa faces upperclassmen over a social media photo taken by Hijiri, denying her relationship with Taichi. Mikiya locates the distressed Sarasa near the harbor, saving her from harassers.
