Hiro Hiyorimi attempts to rescue a woman from death, but he dies in the process. The woman he saved is Hime, the daughter of the King of the Monsters, and as a reward, Hiro is resurrected as a non-living soldier in Hime’s honor guard. He must now defend her from supernatural threats, including vampires and zombies, unleashed by her siblings vying for power. The creatures he faces range from the familiar to the bizarre, such as were-sharks, pandas, and killer dumplings. Despite the bizarre and dangerous afterlife he is thrust into, Hime is described as the more virtuous party in the conflict, even within a setting where morality is ambiguous.

Apr 13, 2007Hiro Hiyorimi wanders into a shopping district while believing he is lost near his sister's mansion. He saves a mysterious girl from falling construction beams, dying in the process. The girl, identified as Hime, revives him in a hospital bed. Hiro returns to the mansion to find Hime surrounded by werewolves led by Lobo Wildman. With Hiro's help, Hime kills Wildman. Because Hime granted Hiro immortal life, he is now bound to serve her forever. This sequence establishes their master-servant relationship and Hiro's new eternal existence following his selfless act to protect the girl he saved.
