On his mother's birthday, Zorori feels depressed until a fox mother loses her infant. Zorori promises to return the child, but a sick Ishishi is abducted by an eagle. Zorori and Noshishi recover the baby at the bottom of a ravine, where they discover a massive treasure. However, they must abandon the wealth when Ishishi and the eagle return for a rescue. The eagle crashes into the mother's home, but everyone arrives safely. Zorori uses a giant diamond from the treasure to fund a new home for the baby. This episode is based on book 9.
